Step 1: Get your API key

Create a free AetherWave account and copy your API key (starts with aw_live_) from the Developer tab on your Profile page. New accounts get free starter credits, so you can test without spending anything.

Step 2: Add AetherWave to Roo Code

Add this block to mcp_settings.json (via Roo Code > MCP Servers):

Replace aw_live_your_key_here with your real key, save, and reload Roo Code.

Step 3: Generate

Restart Roo Code and ask it to make something. For example:

Roo Code calls aetherwave_generate_music and aetherwave_generate_image in sequence and hands back finished, hosted URLs. You can check your balance any time with aetherwave_balance.
