AetherWave MCP for Warp

Warp is a modern terminal with an agentic mode that supports MCP servers. Add AetherWave and Warp's agent can generate media right from your command line as part of a larger task.

The AetherWave MCP server exposes 16 generation tools (music via Suno, image generation and editing, video generation, upscaling, background removal, reframing, and audio mastering) as native tools your agent in Warp can call. No SDK, no per-provider API keys, no polling loops to write. Every generation auto-saves to your AetherWave gallery on Cloudflare R2.

Quick facts

Step 1: Get your API key

Create a free AetherWave account and copy your API key (starts with aw_live_) from the Developer tab on your Profile page. New accounts get free starter credits, so you can test without spending anything.

Step 2: Add AetherWave to Warp

Add this block to Warp > Settings > AI > MCP Servers:

Replace aw_live_your_key_here with your real key, save, and reload Warp.

Step 3: Generate

Restart Warp and ask it to make something. For example:

Warp calls aetherwave_generate_music and aetherwave_generate_image in sequence and hands back finished, hosted URLs. You can check your balance any time with aetherwave_balance.

Notes for Warp

Open Warp Settings, go to AI then MCP Servers, and add a new server using the JSON block below. Warp starts the server and exposes the tools to its agent.
