How to generate music from Claude

To generate music from Claude, connect a music-capable MCP server such as AetherWave, then ask Claude in plain language to create a track. Claude calls the server's music tool and returns finished, hosted audio, all without leaving your editor or chat.

The three steps

First, get a free AetherWave API key from the Developer tab on your profile, or use the remote OAuth connector. Second, add the server to Claude: one command in Claude Code (claude mcp add), or a one-click connector in Claude Desktop and Claude.ai. Third, ask: make a cinematic orchestral piece for a trailer.

Claude calls aetherwave_generate_music (powered by Suno) and hands back two finished tracks as hosted URLs that save to your gallery.

Going further

Because the same server also generates images and video, you can keep going in the same conversation: ask Claude to make album art for the track, then a short video. It composes the tools for you.

Check your remaining credits any time by asking Claude to run aetherwave_balance.
