What the Creator's Lounge is
The Creator's Lounge is a relaxed neon hangout room for AetherWave creators. It is a place to spend time between creating, discover community work, play a few games, and connect with other people on the platform. Open it from the Lounge link in the grid menu's General tab, or go straight to /lounge.
A live "X here now" badge shows how many creators are in the lounge at that moment. Click the fixtures in the room to open each area.
Big Screen (Watch)
The Big Screen plays a curated video library grouped into shelves you browse by category:
- SOLO "Building AetherWave" documentary series (an auto-updating playlist, so new episodes appear as they are released)
- AetherWave features
- AW Influencers picks from AetherWave's featured creators
- Community videos shared by other members
Pick any video to watch it right in the panel.
You can also share your own video: click "Share a video," paste a YouTube link (your music video, a creation, anything worth sharing), and it joins the Community shelf for everyone, credited to your handle. You can remove a video you shared any time using the trash icon on its row. If you spot a Community video that does not belong, use the flag icon to report it and it goes to the team for review.
Radio
Tune in to AetherWave Radio right in the lounge from the stereo on the coffee table. Browse the channel list on the left, click a station to tune it, and it plays in a phone-style player. Every channel is a live, synced stream, so everyone hears the same track at the same moment, with the cover art, the current track, and what is up next. Use the volume slider or the mute button to set your level, and the skip buttons to move between channels.
Arcade
The Arcade has a growing library of original neon games: Neon Snake, Neon Breaker, 2048, Wave Invaders, Astral Drift, Data Runner, Neon Muncher, Overdrive, Circuit Clash, Gem Surge, Beatstream (a rhythm game), and Jetstream. Each game keeps a leaderboard, so your high score lands on the board when you are signed in.
All twelve games have had a big glow-up: arcade-style graphics, synthesized sound effects, deeper gameplay, and a title screen with a single glowing Start button over the game's own art. A music bed plays across the arcade, and a speaker button mutes it all.
Every game has been fully remade with its own character and style. Overdrive is a first person arcade racer with a 3D perspective road, boost and brake, and traffic to weave through. Circuit Clash is a cartoon fighting game with six original fighters, themed stages, and super moves. Data Runner stars Bit the data courier, Neon Muncher stars Chomps in a circuit-board maze, and Jetstream stars Byte the courier drone. Wave Invaders, Neon Snake, Neon Breaker, Astral Drift, Gem Surge, 2048, and Beatstream all got deep graphics and gameplay passes too.
- How to Play: tap the gear icon on any game's title screen to open its How to Play, with the game's goal and controls.
- Desktop: keyboard controls (arrows or WASD, space, and P or Escape to pause).
- Mobile: every game plays inside a Game Boy style handheld with a D-pad, A and B buttons, START, and a SELECT button that pauses.
- Every game can be paused any time with the on-screen pause button, the P key, or SELECT.
The arcade is in active development, so expect the games to keep improving.
Notice Board (Connect)
The Notice Board is for connecting with other creators, with no selling, just collaboration. Post a note as a Collab call, Expert wanted, or Question, add an optional media tag, and others can reply in a thread. Filter the board by type to find what you need.
Lounge Chat
An always-on live chat runs in the lounge so creators who are around can talk in real time. It updates continuously. Sign in to join the conversation.
The Host
The Host is the lounge's friendly AI, powered by Claude. Chat with it for ideas, recommendations on which studio to use for what you want to make, or just to talk. Tap the small radio on the media console under the TV to start a conversation.
Getting there
Open /lounge directly, or use the Lounge link in the grid menu (General tab). Viewing is open to everyone; posting to the board, chatting, and saving high scores require you to be signed in.
