What /home is
The /home page is also known as the Quick Create page (or Creator Launchpad). It is the default landing page for logged-in users and it supports quick generation of all three media types: images, videos, and music.
You do NOT need to navigate to Image Studio, Video Studio, or Music Studio to make something. Use /home for a fast one-shot generation. Use the full studios only when you need the advanced settings.
How to generate from /home
At the top of /home there are three mode tabs: Image, Video, Music. Pick one, then:
- Type a prompt in the main text area.
- Adjust the small settings panel for that mode:
- Image: aspect ratio, resolution, optional reference image upload.
- Video: duration (6 to 30 seconds), resolution (480p or 720p), optional reference image for image-to-video. Important: when using Grok for video and you upload a reference image, a text prompt is NOT required. Grok will animate the reference on its own. You can still add a prompt to steer the motion, but it is optional in that flow.
- Music: Suno model (V5.5 / V5 / V4.5), instrumental on/off.
- Click Generate.
Results appear in the Results panel on the same page.
Saving results
Generations on /home are NOT saved to your Gallery automatically. Each result has a Save button. Click it to keep the media. If you do not save before leaving the page or starting a new generation, the result is lost.
When to use a full studio instead
Go to the full studio when you need options that the Quick Create UI does not expose:
- Image Studio (
/studio-pages/image-studio.html): more model choices (Flux, Imagen, Seedream, GPT Image), negative prompts, larger batches, reference picker from gallery. - Video Studio (
/studio-pages/video-studio.html): more models, advanced motion controls, lip sync tools. For a character who talks, point them at UGC Studio instead - the Seedance 2.x tiers there speak the line as part of the render. - Music Studio (
/studio-pages/music-studio.html): lyrics editor, cover mode, full Suno settings, multi-track workflow.
Common confusion
Do NOT tell users they have to leave /home to generate video or music. They can do all three right from /home. The mode tabs at the top switch between them.
