Dance
Where: /quick-create?mode=dance, the Dance tab in Quick Create. The link works
signed out.
The user adds a photo, taps a dance, and the person in the photo performs it.
The exact steps
- Add a photo. One person, whole body in view works best.
- Tap one of the 12 dances: Renegade, Say So, Blinding Lights, Out West, Jump and Wave, Floss, Disco Point, Sprinkler, Shimmy, Side Step Clap, Victory Spin, Robot.
- Or tap Your own moves and upload any dance video to transfer instead.
The sample clips star our own UGC characters on a studio set. No creator footage, audio or logos ship with them.
What it costs
Dance is priced per second of the clip, so a longer dance costs more:
| Engine | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 9 credits per second | 13 credits per second |
| Quality | 28 credits per second | 38 credits per second |
A template clip runs about 6 seconds, so a normal Dance on Standard at 720p is about 54 credits. Standard is the default on purpose.
The first dance is 25 credits
A new account opens with 25 credits, and 54 would have put the first Dance out of reach, so the first dance on an account is a flat 25 credits. The conditions are exact:
- Standard engine, 720p, clip 6.5 seconds or shorter
- Once per account. A dance that succeeded, or one still running, uses it up.
- A failed dance was never charged, so a retry is still the first one.
- Running two dances at the same moment means the second pays the normal price.
⚠️ Do not describe this as a free dance on public pages. It is a 25 credit first dance that a new account's starting credits happen to cover, and the conditions above all have to hold.
What the user gets back
One video, saved to the gallery automatically. The server charges up front and refunds a failure, so a dance that does not work costs nothing.
Common confusion
- "Why was my dance more than 25 credits?" The first-dance price needs Standard, 720p and a clip of 6.5 seconds or less, and it is once per account. Anything else is the per-second price.
- "Can I use a TikTok video I found?" Your own moves accepts a video the user has the rights to. We do not ship creator footage.
- "It did not save." It does, automatically. Check the gallery.
