What the VoxBot tour is
VoxBot is the AetherWave Studio mascot. The first time you visit a studio page, VoxBot pops up about a second after the page loads and walks you through what each control does, in plain language, one step at a time. Think of it as the friendly intern showing a new visitor around the office.
The tour highlights one element at a time, dims the rest of the page, and pairs every step with a short explanation. Hit Next to advance, Back to revisit, or X to dismiss. Pressing Esc or clicking the X also dismisses.
You only see the auto-tour the first time on each page. After that, VoxBot stays out of your way unless you ask for the tour again.
Replaying the tour
Every page that has a tour shows a small compass icon in the left side navigation, just above the gear-icon settings button. Click it any time to replay the tour from step one. Useful when you come back to a feature after a few weeks and want a quick refresher.
If a page doesn't have a tour, the compass icon stays hidden. That's intentional, not a bug.
Pages that have a tour
As of late April 2026:
- Track Reels - song-to-social-clips tool. 7 steps covering upload, length dials, story mode, imagery, captions toggle, cost preview, and the analyze button.
- Music Studio - Suno song generation. 6 steps covering Simple vs Custom mode, model picker, song description, instrumental toggle, cost, and the generate button.
- Soul Forge - band identity creator. 5 steps covering audio upload, Explore vs Refine, band vs solo, optional vision steering, and the Forge button.
More studio pages are getting tours over the next week or two. If a page doesn't have one yet, the compass icon won't show.
Keyboard shortcuts
While the tour is open:
- Esc - dismiss
- Right arrow - next step
- Left arrow - previous step
- X in the corner - dismiss
What VoxBot looks at
The tour is designed for first-time visitors. It explains what each control does and when to use it, not deep technical details. For the full how-to on any specific feature, the tour ends with a "Read the full guide" link to the relevant KB article.
Troubleshooting
Tour doesn't appear on first visit. The tour respects your browser's localStorage. If you've already dismissed it once on this page in this browser, it won't auto-fire again. Click the compass icon in the side nav to replay.
Compass icon is missing. The page you're on probably doesn't have a tour yet. The icon only shows on tour-enabled pages.
A step highlights the wrong element. Page layouts shift over time as we ship updates. If a tour step lands on the wrong control, please report it via support. Tours are routine to update.
Tour starts and immediately disappears. Usually means a target element didn't render in time. Refresh the page once and replay via the compass icon. If it keeps happening, please report it.
