The catalogue
The Audio Store, at /audio-store, holds more than seventy components: equalisers, dynamics, character and saturation, modulation and time, spatial units, creative effects, preamps, amplifiers and tubes, tape and vinyl, headphones, speakers, and converters and meters. Every faceplate is photoreal and wired to real DSP. Browse by category on the left, filter by tier, or search by name, category, or control. You reach the store from an empty slot in your rack, or directly.
The four tiers
Tier is the class a component belongs to. It rises with capability, and with price.
- Core is the included kit, shown in green. Core units cost nothing; they are where every rack starts. The 5-Band Equalizer is the one your system ships with.
- Standard is the working set: the everyday units most rigs are built from.
- Premium is specialist gear and rarer circuits.
- Reference is mastering grade, the top rung.
A component's price is shown in credits on its card, or "Free" for the included set. Higher tiers cost more, but tier and price are separate facts: an included unit still shows its tier, in the green that marks it as free.
Auditioning before you buy
Most paid units offer an Audition button. Auditioning drops the unit onto whatever you are currently playing so you can hear exactly what it does to your own material before spending anything. Press it again to stop. It is the honest way to shop: try it on your track, not a demo.
Buying
The Get button on a card purchases the unit with credits from your balance and installs it in your rack. Owned units read "In your rack" and cannot be bought twice. If you are short on credits, top up from the billing pages; see Plans and Credits.
Included and Coming Soon
Some units are included free (the Core set). Others are marked Coming Soon: they are on the shelf with their art and price so you can see the catalogue is still being built, but they are not for sale yet and cannot be auditioned. The store never hides a unit it retires; a retired unit simply drops off the shelf.
From store to rack
Once a unit is yours it lives in the slot you placed it in, and it behaves like any other component: Mix control, bypass, and a place in the signal order. Building with them is covered in Building Your Rack.
