Why sign-in fails inside an app
When you open an AetherWave link from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok or X, the page opens in that app's built-in browser. Google does not allow sign-in from built-in browsers, so pressing Login there cannot finish. This is Google's rule, not a problem with your account.
You will see a banner at the top of the page: Open in your browser to sign in.
On Android
Tap Open in Chrome in the banner. The same page opens in Chrome, ready for you to sign in with Google.
- If you were adding vocals to a track, the song idea, lyrics, style and title you typed come with you.
- If you picked a photo in Quick Create (Photo Song, Style Match or Dance), add the photo again in Chrome. Photos cannot be carried between apps.
On iPhone
Tap the three dots at the top right of the app, then Open in Safari (or Open in browser). Sign in there.
Your typed work does not carry over on iPhone, so it is best to switch to Safari before you start.
Copy link in the banner copies this page's address. Paste it into Safari or Chrome if the button or menu is not available.
Still stuck?
- Make sure Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) is installed and is your default browser.
- If you dismissed the banner, it comes back when you press Login again.
