Create a Post-Rock Artist Identity
Every great Post-Rock artist has more than music - they have an identity. A name that captures the sound. A story that gives it depth. A visual language that makes it recognizable. AetherWave's Soul Forge builds all of that from a single post-rock track, using AI to analyze your music and generate a complete artist identity that authentically represents the Post-Rock genre.
Post-rock album art favors vast, contemplative imagery - expansive landscapes, lonely structures, and a sense of scale that matches the genre's slow-building crescendos. The visual language is cinematic and patient, often using negative space and muted palettes to powerful effect.

The Post-Rock Aesthetic
Soul Forge doesn't just generate random names - it captures the visual and cultural language of post-rock. The Post-Rock aesthetic is defined by: vast landscapes, power lines, abandoned buildings, snow fields, ocean waves, mountain ridges, fog.
Your generated band card, portrait art, and origin story all reflect these elements. The AI understands that a Post-Rock artist looks and sounds different from other genres, and it generates an identity that would feel at home in the post-rock world.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to start?
Just a post-rock audio track. Upload it to Soul Forge and the AI handles everything else. You can also select your preferred vocalist gender to influence the generated identity. The forge costs 50 credits per generation. New accounts earn up to 80 free credits from the eight starter quests.
Can I edit the generated identity?
Each Soul Forge generation creates a complete, cohesive identity package. You can run the forge multiple times with the same track or different tracks to explore different directions. Each result is saved to your profile as a collectible band card that you can publish as a website or share on social media.
Is my music analyzed?
Yes. Soul Forge uses Librosa-powered audio analysis to understand your post-rock track's tempo, key, energy, mood, and genre characteristics. This analysis drives every element of the generated identity - from the band name to the visual style of the card art. Your track is only used for analysis and is not stored or shared.
