Free Shoegaze Music Generator
You can start making Shoegaze music without paying. AetherWave's Music Studio runs on credits. A new account earns up to 80 free credits by completing the eight starter quests, which is enough for a full track with album art. Your account opens with 25 credits to spend, no card, and verifying one later is a $0 check, never a charge.
Shoegaze album art is drenched in blur and beauty - hazy photography, soft focus, washed-out pastels, and dreamlike layering that mirrors the genre's wall-of-sound guitars. The covers feel like looking at the world through frosted glass or a half-remembered dream.
Why Free?
We believe everyone should be able to try AI music creation before paying for it. The free tier lets you experience the full power of AI Shoegaze production before deciding if you want more. You get the same models, the same quality, and the same download options as paid users. The limits are on volume, and on commercial use: free-tier tracks are for personal, non-commercial projects, while commercial rights come with any paid plan.
Those first 80 credits are enough to make a shoegaze track, build a band identity around it in Soul Forge, and put it on AetherWave Radio, which gives uploaded tracks free airplay.

The Shoegaze Sound
The Shoegaze genre is built on distinctive elements: soft focus photography, lens blur, pastel washes. AetherWave's AI models understand these characteristics deeply. When you describe a shoegaze track, the AI draws on trained knowledge of the genre to produce something that feels authentic - not a generic beat with a label slapped on it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really free with no catch?
New accounts earn up to 80 free credits from the eight starter quests. Your account opens with 25 credits to spend, no card, and verifying one later is a $0 check, never a charge. You can generate Shoegaze tracks, download them, and share them on the community feed. The free tier has limits on total creations (25 tracks) and storage (100 MB), and free-tier tracks are for personal, non-commercial use. There are no feature restrictions or watermarks on your music.
What happens when my free credits run out?
Your existing shoegaze tracks stay in your account and remain downloadable. To generate more, you can upgrade to a paid plan starting at the Starter tier, which includes additional credits and higher limits. There is no pressure to upgrade - your free account never expires.
Can I use free Shoegaze tracks in my own projects?
Free-tier tracks are for personal, non-commercial projects. Commercial use, including monetized video, client work, ads and anything you earn from, requires a paid plan (Starter and above). Usage rights also depend on the AI model used, so check the specific model terms within Music Studio. Many creators use their free shoegaze generations for personal social posts and hobby projects.
