On Your Phone

Using the stereo on a phone, the player view as the mobile default, opening the full rack, and tap-to-zoom for precise control.

The mobile default

On a phone the stereo opens in player view: cover art, transport controls, volume, and the station you are on. It is the clean way to listen on the go, and it carries its own brandmark and controls, so the screen is not cluttered.

The full rack on a phone

Tap Open Sound System to switch to the full rack. On a narrow screen the rig drops the room and the flanking speakers and stacks the console as a single column you scroll through, so every module is full width and its controls are as large as the screen allows.

Tap-to-zoom

Some units are dense: a ten-band equaliser or a stereo imager has a lot of small knobs, and at phone width they can be fiddly for a thumb. Tap the Zoom control in the top corner to widen the rack past the screen; the knobs grow and you pan side to side to reach them. Tap Fit to return to the full-width view. Standard pinch-to-zoom works too.

Your settings still follow you

Everything on a phone behaves like the desktop: your rack and settings save themselves to your account, so the rig you built on your laptop is the same rig on your phone, and any change on either shows up on the other next time you open it.

Getting back out

The brandmark at the top returns you to the AetherWave home. In the rack, the button in the lower corner returns you to the player view.
