How to Use Grok Imagine
Grok Imagine is xAI's image model, and using it on AetherWave takes about thirty seconds. This guide walks through it step by step, then covers a few tips to get better results.
Step by step
- Open the Image Studio. Head to the AetherWave Image Studio and select Grok Imagine from the model picker.
- Write a prompt. One or two clear sentences. Name the subject, the style, and the mood. Example: "a neon-lit rainy city street at night, cinematic, reflections on wet pavement."
- Generate. Grok returns two variations in seconds.
- Refine and download. Pick the best one, adjust the prompt to push it further, then download, animate, or send it to album art or Soul Forge.
Tips for better Grok Imagine results
- Lead with the subject. Put the most important thing first in the prompt.
- Add a style anchor. Words like cinematic, illustration, watercolor, 3D render or photoreal steer the look.
- Keep it short. Grok tends to do better with concise prompts than with long paragraphs. Iterate rather than over-specify.
- Use both results. Since Grok returns two variations, treat each generation as a pair of options, not one shot.

How much does it cost?
Grok Imagine is free for AetherWave Artist members - the Artist plan ($24.99/mo) includes 100 Grok generations a month, up to 200 images. On other plans Grok runs on credits like any other model. We say this plainly because it is free with Artist, not free for everyone.
