The workflow

A working routine for extending AI video

Generate, judge, extend, judge again, then render once. The order matters more than any single setting.

The Extend chain in the Video Studio: two approved takes side by side, the join labelled last frame in, and a chain render of 24 seconds saved to the gallery.
The chain itself: each take, the join between them, and one render saved to the gallery.

The loop

Get a first clip you actually like before extending anything, because its final frame becomes the foundation for everything after it. Time spent here is not wasted.

Then extend one take at a time and watch each one as it arrives. Approve the ones that hold. When the sequence is long enough, play the whole chain, adjust which takes are in, and render once.

Habits worth having

Describe what happens next, not what the scene looks like. The frame already carries the look.

Leave a weak take out rather than restarting the chain. The takes after it were seeded from frames, not from your opinion of that take.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many takes before it gets unwieldy?

The chain scrolls and each take is clickable, so the limit is creative rather than mechanical. Most sequences stop being interesting before the interface stops being usable.

Should I render as I go?

Play chain is the cheaper way to check flow. Render when you want the file.

Your first clip is the hard part

Open the Video Studio, get one shot you like, then press AetherWave Extend and keep going. Every take is its own gallery entry, so nothing you keep can be overwritten.
