Consistency

Keeping an AI video consistent from one clip to the next

Continuity between generated shots breaks when the next run has to re-imagine the scene from words. Seeding it with the previous final frame removes that guesswork.

Where continuity usually breaks

Run the same prompt twice and you get two different rooms, two different jackets, two different times of day. Nothing in the text pins the details down tightly enough.

Seeding from a frame changes the question the model is answering. It is no longer inventing the scene; it is continuing one it has been handed.

What still drifts, honestly

The join is faithful because it is an image. Further into a new take, the model is generating freely again, and detail can wander the way it does in any generated footage.

That is the reason the chain has per-take approval rather than accepting every continuation. You keep the takes that held and drop the ones that did not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a character's face stay the same across a chain?

The opening frame of each take matches the previous take's last frame exactly, so the hand-off is faithful. How well a face holds through the rest of a take depends on the shot and the model, which is what the approve toggle is for.

Does a longer chain drift more?

Each link is faithful at the join, but small changes can accumulate across many takes. Reviewing take by take is how you catch it before it reaches the render.
